CSV tip: import the ZIP column as Text in your spreadsheet to preserve leading zeros. Clearing browser data removes this local collection.
The data behind the address.
Real locality records, with a clear boundary around what’s generated.
City, state & ZIP — together
Each location comes from one GeoNames US postal-code record. We keep the locality, state and ZIP together instead of choosing them separately.
GeoNames place names are locality labels, which may differ from municipal names. Records are provided as-is; this is not USPS address validation.
Streets are fictional
House numbers and Example, Sample, Demo or Test street names are generated locally. A matching locality does not make a street deliverable. Use these results for forms, prototypes and software testing.
Test profile fields
Names are fictional. US phones use the reserved 555-0100–0199 range; all other destinations use non-dialable X placeholders. Streets or lot, building and unit details are fictional.
Generation runs in your browser using the bundled dataset. Saved addresses use local storage. There are no accounts, analytics or third-party generation requests in this version.

Where locations come from
GeoNames data uses CC BY 4.0; Japan Post permits redistribution of its postal data. Hong Kong has no postcodes. UK and Canada use up to 3 full postcodes per source locality. Counts, exclusions and dates are on Data sources. Delivery details are fictional.

How to use AddressSample
Generate fictional test profiles with matched locality, region and postal records. Copy fields, save locally, and export CSV or JSON.
Last updated:
1. Choose a country and region
Choose a country or region, select an available area, then Generate. Singapore has one country-wide scope; Hong Kong has no postcode. Changing country generates a new sample. The US tax-free scope keeps the existing result until Generate and refers only to general state sales tax.
2. Copy or share test data
Use a copy icon for one field or the full address. Keep city, state and ZIP from the same result together. Share opens the system sharing menu when available, or copies the test profile. The map link searches the real locality, not the fictional street.
3. Save and export
Search your shared local collection and filter by country and region. CSV/JSON export only visible results. Keep postal codes as text to preserve leading zeros and back up before clearing browser data. Changing country never removes saved addresses.
4. Language, theme and limits
The root entry chooses a language using your saved preference or browser language. An explicit language URL keeps its language. Your manual choice and theme are remembered. The current result and selected state are kept in this tab when moving between pages. Delete removes a saved item; clearing this site’s browser data removes all local settings and collections. These samples cannot receive mail, calls or email.
Privacy and local data
What this version stores in your browser, what its server receives and when external services are opened.

Browser storage
This version stores saved addresses, language preference and theme in local storage. A tab-scoped session record preserves the current generated sample and state filter during page and language navigation. Collections are not uploaded or synced to an account.
Network requests
The browser requests page files and the bundled location dataset from the site server. A server receives connection information needed to deliver those files, such as IP address and request path. The current application does not write request access logs, set tracking cookies, embed ads or run analytics scripts.
External links and sharing
Opening the locality map sends the city, state and ZIP query to OpenStreetMap. Other source links open their respective sites. System sharing transfers the displayed test profile only when you choose to share it; the clipboard fallback copies it locally. External services and your chosen sharing destination handle data under their own policies.
Your choices
Export a copy, delete saved items, or clear this site’s browser data to remove its stored collection and preferences. Disabling browser storage can prevent saving and remembering choices. Generated profiles are fictional; there is no real inbox or identity verification service. This notice describes the current version and must be reviewed if hosting, analytics, ads or accounts change.
